Pirates of the Caribbean (the first one, available in bargain bins near you. Be absolutely sure not to get the second PotC game). Free roaming RPG/sailing game. Rather poor unmodded, but with Build 12.1 the best pirate game around.

The other one is its sequal, Age of Pirates: Caribbean Tales, which is completely horrible (and I mean: seriously. Unplayable. Plus, it comes with StarForce, so you're forced to get a crack having purchased it legally :tai: ) and hasn't been satisfactory modded yet. In the future it might go beyond PotC, but I wouldn't take my chances as things stand, if I were you :P
