Hmmmmm. I'll look into that. :ok:
Thanks. :ok: |
Lots of questions.
1) How do I get the electric wires? I've shut the power off, so now what? 2) How do I get Edna out of her room? 3) What's the card key go to? 4) What's the purpose of the sponge? 5) Purpose of the radioactive water? 6) How do I get the casette tape? 7) Purpose of the package? 8) Purpose of the dimes? 9) Purpose of the stamp? Lots more, but that'll do. |
Well this game has different ways of playing!
The things you find do not all have a purpose! It depends which kids you chose at the begining! If you have Bernard then after the lights are off he can take a flashlight and go up to the atic to fix the wires... The coins will go into the telescope (so you can read the numbers of the safe), the radioactive water makes a plant grow, so you can climb up it! The sponge can collect the developing fluid (to make pictures, not all kids can do that). The casette tape is in the library (try the borads to the far right - past the stairs). To make Edna leave you need to get her to the phone (if I remember correctly)... But those are the things you should figure out your self - that's the point of an adventure! Only if you're really stuck at one point and can't go on should you ask for help! Otherwise it's not that fun! |
Hey I have a question, how do you break people out of the dungeon?
|
At the start of the game, you need two people in the dungeon to stage a breakout, and you'll always need to leave someone behind. There's a brick on the wall which you'll need to find by mousing over it.
Later on, you can get a key to open the door from the outside. |
:ok: This is great. Its just almost like the original one. This is one of the first NES games i played that i really enjoyed way back in the day. Heres a tip I still remebered to do after all the years; Its quite simple not to get any of your guys in the dungeon in the beginning, all you have to do is spin the first person you take in the house around and run outta the kitchen door, when Nurse Edna is chasing you, she will not run out after you, and then she is gone out of the kitchen...

Day of the tentacle is an sequel to this game isn't it?
|
Yep. Same scientist, same tentacles, same Bernard.

Okay what happened to being able to put the hamster in the microwave?
I know that nintendo had them remove it for the NES port but since this was a remake they could have left it in. It's not that im a sicko, it's just that i thought it was a great way to kill of dave, and lets face it, he is quite useless and dosent deserve to be there when his girlfriend gets freed, he even refuses to speak to her when he makes it into the lab. plus this gives bernard a chance to be her hero, it's about time some one gave the guy a break Still though this is a fantastic remake of one of my fravourite games |
Actually in the nes version you could still put the hamster in the microwave, but only with Syd and Razor you could do it with.
