Teaches you to use work email for work stuff and private email for private stuff ;)

After I found out they monitor my calls at work, I only use my cell phone for private stuff.

Well they blocked gmail (probably also yahoo and hotmail) from work. so... i am currently using another one... mwahahahahaha

here they only monitor calls if the cost is high. since i export stuff and work with customers form all over the world, i have an open line to foreign calls. therefore it would be kind of hard to notice if i talk a bit more.

I also have an open line, 'cause when other people in the building need to call abroad, they do it via me :)

They only list numbers that call me and that I call. They do record them, but they also told me that they won't listen to my calls. just check the list. And I'm supposed to get loads of incoming calls but only foreign outgoing calls (i can have few domestic incoming calls, but they can't be the same number again and again ;) )

But blocking gmail, hotmail etc is just asking for personal emails in work address

no that was step one. now step two -> MS Exchange - with some sytsem where they will monitor all emails comming in and going out. too many "wrong" emails and you get fired. also it's a bit strange to send personal message if you know people are looking.

therefore i am encrypting them. counter action!

even if they did find i use for personal mail i wonder how they would justify firing someone who is doing 30-50% over the sales plan. <_< R-tards

Geez...

I'm assuming they dont allow msn lawl

gregor 16-11-2006 02:12 PM

The messanger(s)? of course not.

Also most things and installing programes are blocked on my computer. Sometimes i find a way arround that, so at least i can use Total Commander.

I work for the State Institute of Social Security, and msn is pretty much encouraged! We use it for work purposes. But mainly for fun ;)

There's also web messenger except if that site is also blocked.

Time someone spends online is monitored. Otherwise there are plently HTML based chats out there, but...
