Well, because this thread is based upon helping newbies, and because we're on the topic of user titles...and because i'm in a thread full of authority figures [sarcasm](oh, joy)[/sarcasm] I thought i'd just say something. I hate Lord of The Rings with a vengeance [I spelled it wrong, I know], and it's going to take me a while to shake this stupid "hobbit" title...I find that annoying. I know you're not going to shift the entire system just because a lone user with a username based on a metal album said to...but could you at least change mine to "Slipknot Maggot", or something? Now there's a title I could live with for a while!

I apologize if any of the above was rude, no really, I do. I also understand that it might be too much of a hassle for yon admins...but I just thought i'd ask...

Ah, well maybe when i'm up there in post count and membership along with such legends as "the fifth horseman", "Kosta", and "Tom Henrik" my plea will be answered...because believe me guys, i've chosen this forum as my new home and i'm not leaving for a while (assuming my sanity holds out and I don't leave in a storm of profanity and sexual references...let's hope not)!

I actually got my first custom title from Titan right after getting the Forum Hobbit title :P
It's very much up to the individual (and the moods of the admins) if a member gets a custom title.

Long time members have the honor of asking for a title personally, but a complete new member can get a custom title just after a few days. But that member won't be able to choose a title.

But when all this is said, we try not to give out too many custom titles, in order to make those who have one special. It's a special treat for special people ;)

Ah, well...i'm not regarded as special offline either...

Kosta owns this website right? Because for a while I though you did...
