True you could get still get stat points by level skills after is says you could level up its just Oblivion restricts that now.

No "just" about it. It's the difference between wandering around and leveling up at your own rate in Morrowind, or finding that you've maxed out long before you've seen even 20% of the dungeons and surface of Cyrodil. That's the reason slow-leveling mods are so popular, too.

Yeah i did use all of those i just found a bug in the game that gave me 680 speed permanantly. You know the blinding boots of speed well lets say that bugged up when i took them off. so it gave me a rather funny high speed. it was full of antics it looked like i was flailing my arms when i ran

Well, then, why complain that Morrowind had so much walking? :D Most of us didn't use an exploit, and we found there was very little walking involved, unless you wanted to complete some quest (just as you have to do in Oblivion), or gather alchemical ingredients (same).

All in all, I think that MW had some severe problems of its in, it got game balance a lot closer to what it should be than Oblivion. But I still have hopes for the latter, based on player-made mods.

I don't get this, and it is the reason I have no stopped playing for a while Oblivion. What is the point of having everybody increasing level with you? I spend hours exploring, learning and fighting to gain a freaking level only to find out that everybody else has also increased in level. I mean, if this is how it is going to be, I might as well just solve the main quest, and as soon as I do that never play the game again. It sounds like an adventure game than RPG. It has really put me off the game.

Well ofcoarse im going to play the game the first time through as the "power gamer"
after i beat it ill go find some find mods to play it with. Like the one MasterGrazzt speaks of :D
It doesnt matter how you play it just have while you do it whether it be with mods or not. Like in morrowind when it got dull i started adding some mods like the Bo Bo fet bounty hunters

I take it you never did discover either the Mark/Recall spells

Sorry for the Off Topic, but where can you find these spells, no one in the mages guild has it (at least the ones I checked) and I have certain problems with the Dunmer temple...

In the Vivec Mages Guild, head left from the teleportation portal, go through a door there somewhere and you should find an altmer clothed like an Ashlander. She has both Mark and Recall iirc.

I Have.

problem i see is walking is too slow. nothing else. i actually like adventuring.
I don't like the start. but once you get some level it's a bit better.

Another spell that io susefully is Jump. i made one which increases my jump to 100 for 3 sec. not exactly the Icarus spell but you can still jump over mountains with it. oh

i also find this site - spell search - very helpful:

http://www.thejamessite.com/morrowin...pellsearch.htm

The thing is at first i didnt' knwo spells are so cheap and efficient. somehow i always ended up with seeing the expencive ones.

where is the easy to get glass armor in Morrowind?

The stupid bug i seemed to get In morrowing is i went to this quest (i thought it will just be by the way) where i had to kill all of tanoga smth (smuglers) in Balmora by the order of one legion commander form nearby fort.

So i killed them all. my crime was offcourse reported. the guards came after me. at first i was thinking what now? so i thougth maybe the guy that ordered me to do it will calm them all down. so i ran, went to his office and indeed. he said he will take care of it with his friends.

i step out of the fort and one of the guardas attacks me. i was shocked. so i ran at first but he caught up with me and we did battle in wilderness. i killed him. and now in almoust every town i go guards attack me (btw i am on the main quest). funny thing is only a few of them were attacking me at first. like one out of 4 or something. and in some towns like Ebonheart or Gnisis they don't attack at all. but in caldera they are all over me and when i kill them they somehow respawn. why are they attacking me? it must be some bug. since my level has risen far i am now trying a new "method" having fun with them. i calm them down and charm them.

The stupid hting is i am in the legion. ok only a spearman but still. and not to mention i fdont' ahve any bounty on my head. so it must be a bug.

I found what i belive was a glitch in the game when i was playing Morrowind, that allowed me to travel super fast and it was quite close to the start. Ive kinda forgotten hwo it went, but there was this woman who had the boots of blinding speed or something. She was on a road and rather close to the start of the story, and she wanted an escort i think to a nearby city. in the end she i think she was ome kind of criminal, and you had to kill her anyways. Now, these boots added like 200 points to your speed, but apparently the whole screen was supposed to blacken as if 'blinded', but for some reason my screen was only slightly darkened. My friend who was also playing said he got the boots but his screen went completly black. Im not sure if it was a glitch i think it was, but at any rate these boots helped me get through alot of the game at nealy 3 times the normal speed. did anyone alse find thse?

gregor 06-05-2006 06:56 AM

yeah i read about few glitches... and also the thing is that once you know the location of good artifacts you can easilly get the game looses it's fun a bit. still it's good if you have specific goal and character creation. Kind of like the Pricess maker.

i think i saw that woman but i was traveling in opposite direction, so i denied her request. later when i tried again you can't accompany them anymore. at least i dont' know how to mkae them offer me the same quest again. i wonder why is that so. why if you deny the quest (dont' have the time right now) you can't take it again.

Also maybe a bit too many dungeons or hole. it would be better to have a it more cities.

Stebbi 06-05-2006 05:21 PM

I've stopped playing that game.....cant find anymore quest.....

*SPOILER*

I have the Imperial Dragon Armor but it wasn't as good as deadra so i went into the Construcion set and made it better! Which just owned than i to The Chorrol shield and made him better Because he looked good with the Imperial Dragon Armor.
