Civ 2 on the internet or Civ 2 over LAN? I think you need to register Civ 2 to get netplay working but LAN should workfine. I never play it anymore so I don't know for sure.

The version of Civ2 I have (Multiplayer Gold Edition) doesn't seem to have a registering thingie, coarse, it also has a cd crack..(I thought it was freeware, punched in "Civ 2" Download in Google, and shwing, there she was, now I has fun, even though It technically isn't legal)

I'm pretty sure I can play multiplayer whenever I want (discluding Hotseat, because thats not over the internet)

Fubb if you still do want to play civ 2 I would love to play it with you thru LAN. That game is 2000 pounds of fun on a bun. And if I can find it online I love that game. I sadly don't have it on this computer anymore.
