Why can't I download game X? What does "ESA Protected" / "NO GO!" / "NO 90!" mean? <<< Click

Ramidel 12-02-2009 07:52 PM

Sierra's out of the ESA. Does that mean that this game can be unprotected?

The Fifth Horseman 12-02-2009 08:51 PM

Maybe.
We'll have to check if it's sold anywhere anymore. If not - it'll be up.

Sorry, but them's the rules.

Anyone know if this game is being sold somewhere (other than E-Bay for a stupid price).

Thanks.

Actually, looking above, does anyone know if the protection is gone and if it is off the market? Thus making it available to be posted?

Ceasar 2 Help

Would thoroughly enjoy having this game join the unprotected ranks.

I still have the original game, the manual and a scanner. I can also post a link to a tutorial and other stuff for the game, Once I create it. I can also, post the solutions for this game with integers for placing buildings and developing your roman cities.

I am not much on battle stratagies though.

Hope I can help out with this game? It was my favorite city builder, at the time and should score pretty high marks, with a lot of the Abandonians.

EDIT: Sorry to be so ignorant of how this all works, but I actually have great skills with making contacts. Found this website last month, that shows the status of all sorts of filed copyrights. Was doing it for some radio stations and music copyright permissions, but wouldn't this work with finding games also? I know alot about copyright law, not all, but at least the general stuff and the internet.

Sierra games:

Always thought of Sierra, as user friendly, game developers. I can assure you, all their games will still play under WinXP, even the old ones. I came to depend on Sierra's games and have quite a few of them.

Sweet... Any movement on this is good movement.

Thanks Keeper,
