in scumm doesn't works because the program doesn't read the format file. :(
scumm reads the extension .1c (for example in the game "Flight of the Amazon Queen"), but in Maniac Mansion there is no any file with the extension .1c

It's at least odd, since MMDX is a fan remake. However, what happened back then was pretty hectic and the admin crew had been removing anything that might have had the slightest chance of being the reason of ESA strike.

a shame that you cant download this redux-version anymore. It is weird, i thought they had the premission from lucas-games....

Kosta informed me that Lucas Arts demanded removal of this game because they consider it to be a serious case of IP infrigement.

Unfortunately, they are right, since every fan-game and fan-remake can be accused of that.

fifth-horseman: does that mean i have to erase the copy i have of the game, from when i thought it was legal??? Does this mean that i have to erase the file, all traises of it, smash my computer, then burn it, and then turn my self in??
