I know a few people who say the sims are the worst game they played in their life, I also know they playe them in secret...

Conclusion: "Macho" men don't like sims...

I am not Macho type and I hate sims...I played them (in secret  :D ) enyoed them for two hours and then unistalled them...
I ´have too much work with living this life then to start live another "sim" life :max:

the halo games make good multiplayers and the person who said that energy shields are stupid, they should try playing halo 2 1 on 1 with a friend, no shields active, pistols + energy swords, no regenerating ammo, no grenades whatsoever, no overshields or camo, no vehicles and a small map like beaver creek. then you will apperciate why halo 2 is good :D. as for the sims, i have played it and i initially liked it but i just got bored of it and it has just become another ea cashcow.

I just told what was my expirience, I'm no fan of them either, but I think there are far worse games than this one...
Example - NFSU:2 - they think that with chicks, and a few annoying rap songs, they can sell the product, they're right, and that is sad...

Sadly true, the NFS has gone downhill :not_ok:

I think it'll be Splinter Cell. I like stealth games, but that one makes me feeling bored. I don't even know why. Maybe I don't like the atmosphere?

troop18546 13-03-2005 07:43 PM

Splinter Cell is the best stealth game ever made.
The atmosphere doesnt have to be funny or laughable...
This is the game that keeps stealth games alive.

Never played Splinter Cell, but it definitely brought back the stealth part of gaming that had been sorely missed imo.

troop18546 13-03-2005 08:39 PM

Well, there was a game "Gorky Zero" and it was a great stealth game, but with too many bugs in it. I'll finish playing it later...

Yeah, Halo - I mean 1.) Energy Weapons are incredibly unsatisfying and feel like they have no effect and 2.) You have a stupid energy-shield which means you take no damage! Argh!

Aside from that, almost every game from the last few years - I don't know why the companies decided to wreck the games market, but I'm sure it had to do with piles and piles of money... :(

About Neverwinter - the game really only works well with the fan-made mods; they drastically changed my opinion of it. (esp. "Dreamcatcher" - far better than the actual game)

But my main gripe: Medal of Honour / Call of Duty (Basically the same game) So so linear and feelingless... I hate it so much! Why hasn't this genre moved on from SS2/Deus Ex? It feels like it's gone backwards! No game *ever* should have a single "use" key which will do your thinking for you!

hey no offenes but I think that the AI in Halo was one of the best i ever saw (they react to every move, work together, and they play dead) eveyone has their own opinion LOL

Halo's AI is quite impressive i really like how they jump to evade a grenade just to find themselves falling in an endless abyss....

Halo is the best 3d shooter but off topic
