It is? I didn't know that.. I always thought it was a hybrid of two popular types of games that just happened to work out well.

I'd personally like to see some more good FPS/RPG hybrids.. system shock 2 pulled that off really well.

I chose between Morrowind and Diablo, and the winner is....

Morrowind is great, just playing through it now. But I still prefer KotOR.
