How's this? "What's with the pointless necromancy?"
|
Seems so.
But the thread is pointless anyway... maybe it could find home in Forum Games. "This can end in two ways, Morphix. And in both of them... you die." -Duke Nukem. |
Sulik: What can we and I do you for?
Fallout 2 |
Favourite game: The Neverhood
favourite lines: Hoborg: Half a cheer for Klaymen! Crowd: Hip Hip Hoo! Hoborg (after a ponderous moment following Kloggs fall from grace): You know, I never really liked that guy. Willy: It all start with Hoborg, a being who had to create, because... ....he had to. |
"Wake up, wake up my friend... ...think of me as the one you trust the most...", the first lines from the Hitman intro. They are just so... how should I put this, so exquisitely dubious.

Chief: Attention all Crew! Prepare to Abandon Ship!
Aces of the Deep |
As JC Denton looks down a three hundred foot pipe with a dangerous fan in it...
Bob Page: Jump! You can make it! |
Now who remembers:
That doesn't seem to work. |
Has anyone mentioned Star Control 2 yet? That game is stock to the top of fantistic dialogue. My favorate is the FotFotPiks explination of how they discovered fire, the wheel, and religion all at once. But that's a long one, so here's a shorter one:
You: You have attacked us before, and we survived! You cannot defeat us. Submit! Kohr-Ah: We did. You did. Yes we can. No. So many good Kohr-Ah quotes. I just have to do one more: You: I cannot understand why you do this. Kohr-Ah: Your understanding is not necessary. So evil. Then there's the Spathi "Safe Ones" on their homeworld talking about the Spathi you have on your team (The Spathi are a charatersiticly cowardly race): Safe Ones:If you held a weapon to Fwiffo's head, he would say anything you wanted him to say. In fact, if you held a vegetable to his head he would probably say anything you wanted him to say. |
I had mentioned SC2, but included nearly no quotes. They're good.
