Unfortunately, the game can't be downloaded any more from Christy Marx's homepage. However, she gives some information about it, for instance a link about some easter eggs and stuff. And the reason, why it cannot be downloaded is that it can be bought on GOG.com now. Renewed version, no DOSBox needed. |

Luchsen | HOLIDAY.EXE?! You are in the wrong thread, my friend. You should play Holiday Island directly under your Windows OS (or with the standard method of playing Windows games on your non-Windows OS). |

Maxor127 | Arrow keys don't work? I remember playing this on a crappy laptop without a numpad back in the early 90s when laptops had just two colors: blue and gray, and weighed about 20 lbs. If arrow keys don't work, Might Midget's advice should work. |

zirkoni | If you are using DOSBox: Ctrl+F1 starts the keymapper -> you can redefine the controls any way you want. |

Mighty Midget | I'm not sure about your laptop, but on this, the numpad keys are accessed by pressing and holding a "fn" key next to the ctrl and the windows key, and pressing the letter keys with the numpad keys as extra functions. Here, that'd be J to L, and J to 7 for the numbers. |

Cassima77 | I'm playing on a laptop. Does this mean it's impossible to defeat the black knight, or is there another shortcut for the lance movements besides the number keypad (which laptops lack)? |

I remember playing this game more than 15 years ago, and all i can remember is getting stuck in some shrine like room with a riddle. I vaguely remember that it might have been one of those warez protection systems where you needed the manual to solve it or something like that. Do you travel to egypt or something like that at some point in game? |
