How do you see Abandonia?Do you see it as part-time job?Fun?Member of family? LOL

What would you do if some company tried to shutdown this site(like what happened to underdog some time ago...)

I love the music from your games, but I am not a VIP. Would you try to upload it in popular share file website like YouSendIt or RapidShare?
The music IS available to everyone. It is cunningly hidden in the category called Music on the front page. k:

www.YouSendit.com: Limit number of downloads

www. RapidShare.de: Unlimited number of download, Limit 1 download per hour (my favorite), 27MB filesize max.

What do you think about translate the whole of your download to rapid share to save your money on bandwidth? RapidShare limits 1 download per hour, so if user not frequently download games, it is ok. If they need to download another game in a hour, then they can use the secondary link to abandonia game storage.

@ all: Will our questions be answered in this topic, because they are pilling up, or will they be answered in whatever it is that you are doing?
They'll probably be answered elsewhere, as Tom said.

@all: we do know you love abandonia in an almost carnal way, but are there in the vast Web other sites you're very fond of? Any kind...

Strobe @ all:

all of you are fond of abandonware, which is in particular more or less how game
history has begun. but what about the future of gaming? what are your views on
how the digital fun sphere is going to develop from now on?

and how did you get in touch with computers and stuff, in the first place? at what
age and for what occation?

Wicky A question about donation via bank transfer

Is it possible to make a donation via bank transfer too, because I don't feel like getting a credit card only for this one time. Here in Europe, normal bank transfer is most common, so it would be cool if Abandonia had a ISBN/SWIFT account-number where to make donations.

Why doesn't Mika frequent the site as often as he used to? (maybe you know... at one time, he was an admin, if i'm not mistaking)
Hey Omuletzu,

Surpise! heh, sorry to post a bit on-off topic, but just to answer your question: I still do come now and again, although far less frequently that before since I started my own business. The projects I am working on and our current clients are keeping me very busy.

Also I find that I'm always a little late to participate in any discussion. When I do read one of the interesting ones, it is already at like page 8 and in late stages of entropy.

Anyway, thanks for remembering me and I hope to have a little more time soon to apply to one of my huge passions: Abandonware.

PS: I was never an admin, just VIP. I don't like politics too much so I don't think I'd make a good admin anyway :bleh:
