HAHAHA, BANZAI!! :w00t: I did it! What I did is I changed the folders from c:\dos\cdrive to c:\dosbox\cdrive, is ALL! I think the code in the game executable must have been made to work on this exact setup of folders |

Kon-Tiki | Which version of DosBox do you use? |

I have tried that. I also tried moving Hammer files one directory up so I got c:\dos\cdrive\hammer Same result (: Now that I can see that some people got this game to work it is even more painful to not be able to run it :help: |

Eagle of Fire | Rename your directory(ies) so it's 8 letters max (per level) and try again. |

Sorry, I should have mentioned that before. I run it under Dosbox 0.63. My Dosbox folders are as in the guide - c:\Dos; c:\Dos\Cdrive; c:\dos\Cdrive\Hammer~1\Hammer My operating system is WinXP. The error message I get is 'Please insert Hammer of the Gods CD. Removing drive not supported. Doing nothing. c:\hammer~1\hammer' |

Kon-Tiki | Got to run it under DosBox. It works that way. It mounts a drive, which doesn't work outside of DosBox... got to do the same thing but made fit for the environment you want to run it under if it's not DosBox. |

Hi In the description of this game is says 'Run it with hammer.bat or it'll ask for the CD'. I do run it with hammer.bat but the game won't start. Message is that SUBST failed and no CDrom with game was found. Could anyone recommend anything please? |
