I agree that CIV3 is better in some aspects than CIV2, but i don't agree that in whole is a better game... But this is simply my opinion |

The Niles | UFO2 maybe but Civ3 is plain better in every respect then Civ2 let alone 1. The implementation of true borders was something I wanted since version 1 and it has better diplomatic options. Combat is better then the previous games even though it remains the Achilles heel. |

For me UFO 1 is one of my two most favorite games ( the other is civilization 2 ). |

The Niles | I can't blame you for that. I never got into any of the UFO game to be completely honest. Too boring. |

To be honest i haven't searched for a solution because im not that much interested to this game... its a mediocre sequel of UFO 1 and gets extremely hard after a while playing it - and boring also |

The Niles | That's very possible although VGA emulation takes the brunt of the CPU power needed to run DOSBox. You might want to check their forum someone should know why it runs so slowly there. |

LotharGR | The game runs almost at normal speed in combat sequences, but in the 3D globe it runs awfully slow... i suppose it has something to do with the mathematic calculations needed for the 3D graphics. |

The Niles | Wierd DOSBox should be able to emulate UFO2 on a decent speed. Are you speeding up DOSBox? |

Its a pity that UFO 2 is unplayable... in my AthlonXP 2700+ in DOSbox the game runs like a .... snail |

Haha... yeah... i think it's a newer vers. then the original actualy... I got it on floppy-disks (org.) and it's unplayable on my P4 3 GHz to say the least... |
