Tom Henrik I would recommend that you use DOSbox (you can get it from our main site), this program is the best for playing old games. You can also decrease and increase the speed for every game, by pressing CTRL + F11 (down) and CTRL + F12 (up).

The speed problem has to do with P.Q.3,not 2).Ok,that's it

Problems with sound(Loom/asterix/larry 2) and Speed(Police Q

Hello everyone!
I have encountered a couple of problems and would be thankful for any kind of help.Let's see:
I own a 3 GHz P4 cpu, 512 Mb RAM,running on XP (Professional) but still like to play oldies but goldies.
1) Most of the games I have downloaded work just fine with VDMSound, except for LOOM,Asterix and Larry 2.Now, for Asterix this is not a big deal actually. But for LOOM,where you must entirely depend on music and sounds to play, lack of sounds makes the game unplayable.
2) As for my second problem, it deals with speed in Police Quest 2.Everything rolls just fine,up until I have to drive the police car around. In this part of the game the speed is such that my tiny police car drives at warp speed, crashing on walls everytime. Now,how can I speed it down?
Thanks in advance for any advice you might have!
