Japo | Actually all said above does apply, unless the copyright owner bothered to actively tell us to take a game down, possibly because of a re-launch in a new platform. And that's one motive that may make some owners scour abandonware websites. Whatever the motive, if the owner said so, we'd have to take it down, regardless of our house rules, which only apply in absence of other knowledge--that is, when the game is truly abandoned. | |
