Thanks, The /vbullet and Ad Block for mozilla worked a charm. The link David86 gave worked too, but it made me too hungry. Abandonia is delicious enough without the added cholesterol. But don't you guys get a little extra cash if we click ads? Damn, now I really do want some bacon. :P |

In the meanwhile, use the vbullet link. It will only show the forum but at least you get rid of them ads. Just type /vbullet right after abandonia.com |

Arrgh! - Ads by Google are in my way. I have an annoying problem with the Ads by Google box. It will position itself directly below the Search textbox and right over the Forum Tools pulldown menu. It gets right in my way and blocks text when I'm on the forum section. I was lucky that it had a little piece of the pull-down menu showing for Forum Tools or otherwise I may not have been able to even post this thread. I've tried the zoom scale and I've tried switching between IE and Firefox to see if it was a quirk of each program. I'm running Window's Vista, latest version of FF and IE. My monitor is an LCD TV (1376 x 758, tried adjusting to no avail). I don't mind ads. You need them for revenue. I just don't want them right in my way. Or is this maybe a subtle way to tell me you don't want me to post and I'm just not taking the hint.  I gave you money yesterday...<sniff> |
