It's the files off the disk. Don't worry, it will be tested first. Thanks |

If you make an archive from the installed files you will probably end up with some of your own highscore information, usernames or save games in the archive. If the installed files include an install program then the user can probably use that if necessary but under most circumstances just extracting and running the executable should work fine. If you can take the files from the disk for your archive, I suggest doing that because it means the user who downloads the game gets a 'clean' version of the game without all of your data included. Make sure it works before you upload it though! |

Fawfulhasfury | I installed it from the disk. I took all of the game files off the disk for the archive, not the files the disk installed. |

Titan | Ummm.. wheter or not you have the game INSTALLED doesn't matter... it's where you installed it from, that's intresting to us... |

I took the files straight off the disk. Not out of the installed folders. And I have already asked Kosta. So should I uninstall the game then ZIP it up? |

I can answer the first part of your question; Talk to Kosta.. he's THE ONLY ONE who can give someone access to the FTP.. The second part of your question... well.. i realy don't understand.. but i'll give it a try; If you have a CD, either Compress EVERYTHING into a zip-file or better; make an ISO/NGR/BIN-file of it, and compress it with Zip..... In MOST cases, games for especially windows, install files all over your computer, so taking a folder with a game that is installed, won't work. With DOS-games the probablility of it working is MUCH higher.. An option to asking Kosta, is asking one of the Admins via ICQ/MSN and send the file to them along with review, and they will upload it for you. |

JJXB | depends on which game and the install method etc (e.g. diablo II would require registry entries on the target computer etc) |

Fawfulhasfury | My question is. If I were to upload a game to the site, and I already had it installed on my comp, would the setup file say it was already installed when someone went to install the game on their comp? Would it being installed on my comp make it say it is already installed on someone elses comp? |
