does K3 need a CD? I have Kyrandia 1 (K1) & K2 and can play k1 in DOSbox. I saw the download for K3 and thought I'd give it a try but the program says it needs a CD Driver at startup. Anybody have suggestions? I just unzipped the K3 download into its own folder under C:\westwood as \kyrand3\ and from DOSbox ran the setup.exe and the app barks that I need a cd driver. |

Finished today. Imho this is the worst chapter of the series. They have tried to do something innovative but the result isnt very good, most of the puzzles are just repetitive works, other are even more than illogical, other time you just dont have idea what to do. The plot is not very inspired too. Only for die-hard fans of the series. |

I'm with you on reading walkthroughs. But if you want an answer quickly, searching one is an easy, quick, and effective way to go. Be that as it may, I'm glad you found what you needed. However you found it. |

...and GameFAQs has a lot more, too. Excellent game. Unlike the first Kyrandia, #2 and 3 really had puzzles that made sense in a whacked out way, and the surrealistic imagery was perfect. |

He dont give any description of the statues, i have the gems and i know what each one represent, what i dont know is what the statues represent. If it would be easy i wouldn't be here asking. |

Probably by clicking on each one you will get some information. Also if I remember right, you must have gems where you use each one on the altar and see what each one represents. Then I think it's easy enough to figure out what to do with the cats. Try to match the gems with the corresponding statues probably. |
