I like the idea too, but I aint gonna sign up. I prefer to buy my games on cd's and cases and all that. Based on what I've heard about its selection, this aint never gonna kill abandonware. Take that Humorguy! |

I like the idea, and the company that makes it is one of the biggest polish distributors. I wish them luck and hope, they'll think about coming to our country also - not only to the world and selling stuff for dollars |

Interesting, but I'm more than a little doubtful of their claims regarding recoding the games. For starters, they'd need the source code. Which might be a major problem with some older titles. Quote:

They always can go the steam way, and include dosbox or such for dosgames. Because honnestly, recode all those ol'dosgames to get sound support and other NT likes noncompatible thingies, that will be the day. Also: most of the modern monitors can't even display properly the low res screen outputs directly. |
