gumball1979 | Been a long time since I've played this game, does your equipment carry over if you transfer a party from "Countdown"? |

fun way to replay While its too bad there was no sequel there is a fun way to replay the game (you might call it a sort of "cheat"). Playing in DosBox, you can restart the game from the beginning with the same characters and gear from any point in a previous game. 1. Play until you get characters to a high level with good equipment (for instance, defeat a squad of Lunarian police and nab their gear). 2. Go to a training center where you are given the option to remove characters from your team (or just save and reload). Remove all of them. 3. Exit to DOS. 4. Restart the game. Choose "add characters to team" and you will see the characters you just removed. Add them and start the game. The characters will start with all the exp and equipment they had when you removed them. Have fun! |

I finally finished this game. Too bad there was not a sequel to it. It would have been a great series like the D&D Gold Box Series. |

Bugs | ok i finally made it past the prison by using a hex editor to change the bad guys hitpoints to 1. It sucks having to cheat but there really wasnt any way past it. |

stuck I've just rescued ScotDos. I move through the next door and about 100 guards attack me. Is there any easy way of getting past this? I've tried about 10 times already but they're just too strong. |

Luchsen | If there is a save file, I would try that. |

Wulfgarr | What part of the file did you edit to get that? |

I'm having trouble getting the game to work properly. I'm using DOSBox 0.74. When I try to make a character, I get the following message: UNEXPECTED ERROR DURING SAVE: 3 Does anyone know how to fix this? EDIT: Okay, I've gotten it working. Deleted the Matrix.cfg file, and that seemed to do it. Though I'm finding the game to be incredibly hard. I've set it to "Novice", which should make the battles easier... but I'm still getting slaughtered in some of these fights. |

Hi guys and gals, I downloaded this game today and I'm thoroughly stuck - hoping somebody can help. I'm on the first mission, I've saved the Sun King from the assassination attempt and I've spoken to De Sade or whatever his name is (decided NOT to tell him about Romney) and currently fighting off his goons every few steps (very annoying...) and I have no idea what to do now. I went into the security room and got the message from Buck about finding more info on Romney, but I've been to every bloody room I have access to and I can't seem to progress the plot. Going back to my ship results in Scot.dos telling me the mission hasn't finished and to go back. Any help? |
