But have you played the first Tomb Raider or any from the series? I didn't play it at the time but much later not so many years ago for the first time. I had become used to the commonplace idea that 3D adds nothing to a game, which is often true. But TR really did great things with it. |

Sí. Do You remember the famous battle of the Prince and Skeleton on the swinging bridge, which suddenly colapses, Prince lost his sword and like a monkey returns and grabs the bridge? .. Do not cry. I did not played Tomb Raider II still. |

POP1 is ![]() But I'm one of the few that liked POP2 a lot too, although I haven't played it so many times. But I liked the richer scenarios and in-game scenes. And I found swordfights even better (even more difficult though, which may be a reason why many people find POP2 frustrating?) The following 3D POP games I haven't played. I haven't even finished Tomb Raider II... :-( |

BranjoHello |
Good story, inst. Like marko river, I also haven't beaten it yet. I remember back in '94 I was in a DOS class (outside of school) and the most fun we had was that 1 hour we had for playing games before the class starts. Prince of Persia (know as Prince Megahit to us) was one of the games available. It was a blast. |

Gaming Gold! One of my fondest early PC game memories from when I was around 10 years old. Getting a copy from a friend and playing it after school, then we'd talk about our previous night's progress the next day at school.. this continued for at least a few days as I gleaned all the information out of him that I could. It's amazing that I can still remember the exact moments I first came upon certain parts of the game (trying to solve the start of level3 springs to mind), and how I would feel proud and inspired by solving a problem. Anyway the game ended up sitting on my HDD for a few years but I never ended up finishing it. Fast forward about 20+ years into the future.. I caught a bit of a poor Prince of Persia movie on tv and was reminded of the original game - particularly the feelings of worthlessness and self loathing started to resurface due to not being able to complete the game as a kid. So installed DOSBox and we were away! It felt so great as soon as I got back into the game: free and like a child again! So I cracked it rather easy this time around without any cheats and had a huge amount of fun doing it, without a fraction of a doubt PoP1 is a certified classic! Thx Abandonia and everyone else for the goodtiems |
