The Fifth Horseman In order to use Virtual PC, you first have to create a virtual hard drive (there is a "wizard" utility integrated into VPC, I suggest you set it to fixed-size). After that, you install Windows on it like on a normal machine - it won't affect your main system one jot.

Oh, and it's a free download from Microsoft's own site...

DonCorleone That sounds quite system screwing and comlicated to me. Or is it just a completely wrong inmpression. If so, then I'd like to have a try on it...

The Fifth Horseman Virtual PC is also one. You'll have to install an operating system on it like on a real machine, but it goes a long way for running Windows 95 and 98 programs that don't work on XP or Vista.

DonCorleone Hi there,

got the german version of this game and I'd like to get this one to run. Originally the game was designed for win 3.x and win95. I'm using Vista and it doesn't seem that I'm able to get this game installed. Even in different compatibility modes setup doesn't get any further than to the policy agreement.
I'm sure nobody has a solution for vista. But maybe somebody knows if it runs under XP. Well, it has been said that win3.x runs via using dosbox. May this be the only solution? Or is it a solution after all?
