What Tom has proposed sounds like a much better idea, however. |

ReamusLQ | I go with Tom's suggestion. TFH, you should know by now that most updates are completely random with only a few exceptions. We look at what's ready to be updated, and either stick with a weekly theme or choose a game of a different genre. I like the element of surprise as well...

It would be easier to do what we are doing on AR. Simply put a "Review Done" after a game that has recieved a review, and not remove the game from the list until the game has hit the site. That way you don't have to update two lists all the time, but can focus on one. |

Reup | It would sort of spoil the surprise effect of the updates. So I voted NO.

After a game gets requested and approved it is added to the "list of games that need reviews" sticky. However, when a review is sent in, the game is removed from that list and so people may be unaware it's already waiting to be added to the main site and request it again. To prevent such a problem (and to allow us all to keep track of how many reviews the site is ahead of the schedule), I propose creating a "Scheduled updates" sticky that would list the games already reviewed but not yet placed on the main site. What do you think about this? |
