Indeed - which (imo) is the most important difference between Abandonia and Home of the Underdogs (including the site itself) - the loading time is unbearable at HotU....

Personally, I found it a bit crowded in there, and altough the tech-savy people might be slightly less numerous here, the forum does not take so long to load - and the community feels much friendlier on the individual level too.

If you've constructive or informative to add, comments such as that are nothing more than incendiary. Frankly, HOTUDs community is remarkable in it's own ways. The tech support and games discussion over there is on par with Abandonia and while the general discussion is famously fierce (where Abandonia's is much more welcoming), the regulars are quite a bit more intelligent than the majority of the people around here.

I'm not trying to start a big argument here and remember that those points are all generalizations (remember that while I'm critical of the people around here I'm still an active member) and as such lets avoid "but that's not true of me!" comments and the listing of caveats in general. Just be a little bit more thoughtful before making such off-the-cuff remarks.

Actualy, not to sound wrong here as if i'm trying to send you to another site, but Underdogs is verry much alive.

Just replace .org with .info

And no, we have NO intentions of going down.. unlike the other sites, we TRY to stay as legal as possible, and show good mannor and trat other ppls hard work with respect.

I would just like to thank all at abandonia fot the best abandonware site in the world. What with the home of the underdogs and french kiss gone and all the others not too good.

Dont go down like the others.
