Guest_Greg Thanks soo much guys! Yeh I was using windows 98, I'm back on again now. I found that mashing the keyboard in frustration whilst pb2 was booting up worked (I probably mashed a shift key at the same time or something!)

Many many thanks again! I thought I was going to have to have one PC on which I could only play PB2 on for the rest of my life!

Thanks

_r.u.s.s. you are using win 98, arnt you?

enter safe mode (smashing F8 while is your PC booting)
edit autoexec.bat in any text editor

somewhere in the end of the file there should be text with address to the game game

(for example)
Quote:

.
.
blahblahblah c:\games\pb2\game exe blahblahblah
maybe there will be more lines with addres to the game

put in front of each line command "REM"
so the example would look like

Quote:

.
.
REM blahblahblah c:\games\pb2\game exe blahblahblah
reboot computer k:

//eh, or was it RAM? try both, wont make damage

Data try pressing ctrl - break during boot
And try holding in one of the shift keys during boot.

Guest_Greg Help!

I've been playing Paperboy 2 on my other PC but running it in dos. Problem is now when I try to exit paperboy and get back into windows I can't. Everytime the computer just re-starts and then goes straight into paperboy, I don't even get the time to read what DOS says before it boots up Paperboy.

There is no opportunity to enter a command into a prompt, and I've tried going into DOS setup to no avail (probably cos I know little about DOS)

Any suggestions.

Greg
