Kosta | The problem is, from what I saw so far, shoutcast/icecast can only stream mp3 format in a specified bitrate.... I'm not sure there is an on-the-fly converter from midi to mp3, but I believe all playable files will need to be in mp3 format.

The Fifth Horseman | Tracker formats hold the middle ground, though. But I understand they are not an option?

Midi files can be converted into MP3's that way too, if you choose the right synthethiser option for the MIDI plugin. if you say that the radio will play both MIDI and MP3... then you just put yourself into helluva trouble. I have oodles of both kinds of files with game music. |
