FreeFreddy There's also a third way for this, but it requires more to do than the mentioned above:
Installing Windows 98 on a second partition of the HD or a second HD and play the old games there after installing the Dos-compatible drivers for the soundcard there. It also requires little more technical knowledge.

Kosta Well, XP and sound in dos games don't mix. This is due to the fact that XP restricts direct access to hardware for command prompt applications because of security issues. So there are two ways to work around this problem:
1) Download DosBox and play the game in DosBox
2) Download VDM sound and play it directly from XP (but with sound)

Guest I'm running XP, and the game seems to run fine, but I can't get sound or music to work. When I run the game it has configuration of soundcards but I don't know which is the right one. Any suggestions how to get sound/mucis working?
