Quintopotere I approve k: the Konoko's idea!

I think that the "interests section" is much more indicated for the extra-abandon-gaming-interests, so a specific field would be more appropriate.

Count my vote in favor (even if at the moment we are only two )

Strobe if you ask me, i think that's not a bad idea but i think that - just as you stated - the
"interests" section in the profile is quite sufficient for this info.

although it would be interesting to know who's into what game genre, i'm not sure
about the need of a specific custom field for that...
actually, there have been some polls in which members have expressed their
prefered game genres, if i remember correctly.

but that's only my two cents.

Konoko Would it be possible to add a new profile field that allows forum members to list what game genres they like? I know that one could use the 'Interests' field but I feel that as this is a Gaming community it might be nice to make it nice and clear.

I am pretty sure that custom fields can be added via your admin control panel, although my experiance with IVB is limited (use VBulletin for my own sites) so you may need a hak.
