Luchsen | Manual front and back are on FTP as boxshots. Got the manual down to 27MB, upload later. Will add everything to the main site on Sunday.

Type dir /p to list the contents pagewise and look for EXE, BAT and COM files. Take one that sounds like it would start the game. |

Help me. Okay, I was able to get all the way to change directory to c:\SEAROGUE> but now I can't remember how to get game started. I thought it was install or start or something like that but it gives me the illegal command error.... Can anyone get me past this point? I can't remember any of my dos. It's in the back of my brain covered in cobwebs. |

Thank You dosraider Yes, I have your link. Bear with me...it's been over 5 years since I have used dos language...I'm a bit rusty. I finally got c mounted...it only took 2 days. I had to drag my dos folder to a different location because it would not recognize the path directory. mine finally took it by doing this mount c /users/ie/dos/ Now I am trying to translate the preferences instructions. |

Read and apply. It's the best and safest way to with dosbox work on a Mac OS, believe me. |

I will try to make the PDF smaller if it isn't protected. The path to your games directory doesn't have to be that long. You can use any existing path, but don't take any important directory (root, system etc.) because you could delete all files there when making a mistake in DOSBox. That means, create a new directory for your DOSBox games somewhere since I guess you don't want to lose any other files. |

I'm confused. 162 pages scanned as a document in PDF. I'm not trying to post it here on your forum due to the size. It is posted on my website for whomever wants to download it to their own personal computer. I need some help with the DosBox and Mac. I don't quite understand the directions...They are way over my dos knowledge. The Instructions say to create a folder for my games and then mount as below instructions....but is the folder I create supposed to have this long name? Create a folder for your game, e.g. in your Documents folder - "/Users/your-user-name/Documents/DOSBox stuff/MyGame". Z:\>mount C "/Users/your-user-name/Documents/DOSBox stuff/MyGame" I'm completely confused. |

red_avatar | 90MB for how many pages? I think we can get that size down a bit. How did you make the PDF file? The problem is that our limit for extras is 35MB or so I believe so 90MB will cross that limit unless we can get it down. Splitting up the manual should be a final course of action.
