I guess I'll just let this one go. You wouldn't happen to know if there's a good No Limit Poker game that runs in DOS do you? Freeware, Shareware, Retail or Abandoned, just anything that let's you physically throw chips on the table with an old school feel is what I'm still hoping to find. Thanks. |

The Fifth Horseman | If that's the case, an educated guess leads me to believe the archive may be corrupt or incomplete. Did you try obtaining a different copy?

Yeah, I've tried running FNPC.exe several times and the game does work. However, after you finish playing a hand I get an error "File not found in module STUDEGA at address1164:334A" "Hit any key to return to system" Anyway, that's why I assumed it needed to be installed first. Well, there's much better stuff to screw around with in DOS, it's just for some reason, this game really caught my interest. Thanks for at least trying to help me on this. :o) |

Ran it. Don't bother running Install. Just start FNPC.exe and get on with playing. |

Thank you very much the_fifth_horseman. I hope this doesn't trouble you as much as it has with me. |

Well, I've tried every possible combination I could think of and still can't get passed the error on the installation not finding the second floppy disk. There's about 40 .img files located within the folder and none of them are descriptive. I have an Emachine computer 2.33 Ghz that came with Windows XP factory installed. Could I trouble anyone to see if they could get this game to work on your end? ComputerEasy, the developer and publisher of this game went defunct and there are no available places to purchase the game, including Ebay. I did find it over at Underdogs though if someone is willing to give this a try. I promise if there is someone that can figure this out for me, you'll become my new, personal hero. Heck, I might even write a song about you. :o) |

The Fifth Horseman | Just to be sure, use different directories for the A and C mounts.

Hey Data, how are ya? Thanks for hearing me out, it's good to know that there are great people like you out here. Yeah, I was so hoping that would be the easy fix on this one but I'm still getting the same error. Besides, during the installation process it creates it's own subfolder called "FNPCEGA" where all of the game files go, so it's definitely not trying to write over itself. Is there anything else that you could get me going on? Thanks again. |
