The Fifth Horseman It seems you are trying to run the game in plain Windows. I strongly suggest you use DosBox instead.
You can download it here.

You might want to check out the official DosBox FAQ, and particularly this part of it. It is quite helpful for users unfamiliar with DosBox.

Japo I'm supposed to say something besides the URL to let the forum know that I'm not a bot? Okay let's see if it worked.

Abandonware noob. Hello there. As I said in the title, I am new to this idea of abandonware and not very familiar with the old OSes and dos etc. and my problem I'm sure has a very simple solution but being new to this I don't know. Don't go flaming me etc if it obvious and I'm very sorry if it seems like a waste of time but I looked around and can't figure it out as I didn't understand most of the FAQ/Troubleshooting. =)

I Downloaded Constructor and extracted the files to C:/Constructor and when I double click on "Game" first a small screen pops up with C:/CONSTR~1/GAME.EXE at the top with a black background and some text appears in it. It then minimizes and the whole screen gos black for a moment and then the scren returns to normal.

Thanks for reading! =)
