Guest_guest Hey, I've got a problem when I go to see the dancing girls. Cherri Tart does her solo dance and then she starts spinning around while men chuck dollar bills at her. However, she doesn't stop spinning and the game kinda hangs at this point, unable to progress to Larry leaving the theatre. Anyone know what might be going on for this to happen? I've tried it running XP and DosBox, no change. She keeps spinning!

Alternatively, if anyone has a save game just after this point, please send it to me:

Sorry, it's ESA-protected, so you can't download it any more. We used to have permission to host it, but ESA withdrew it.

Micge Ooooh. Joy! Another one from the "my first games" era. Never finished it because I lacked alot of the codes needed ( I had this one piece of paper that got passed around among friends that had a couple key words and a few possible codes like ticket numbers etc. you just had to get lucky and be asked the ones we had :P) I think I had to give up around when you startplaying as Patti. Wonderfull game never the less and I'll be sure to take it for a spin soon.

Wolfi As far as I remember, it IS essential and was coded to keep those speedy AT-machines under control. However, Al Lowe never imagined PCs having 3 GHz, so you would end up lifting those weights literally for DAYS.

Look at www.allowe.com for a solution - slowing down your pc might work and I think he also provides a save game just after the weightlifting part.

Apart from this, this is one of the very best and most funny adventure games I've ever come across. I've played it when I was around 10, it trained my English skills and gave me month of fun! Don't miss out on this one!
Enjoy,
Wolfi

SierraFan Is there any way to skip over that weightlifting part? Is it essential you do it to beat the game (I don't care about getting all of the points at this point)?
