Madonno I used to play it in my Play Station 1, also Rainbow Islands which it came with bubble bobble in the same CD (called bubble bobble also featuring rainbow islands). I always tried everyday to reach to level 100 and beat the final boss, but I only once I could reach to that level. Then my PS broke up Later, I tried on my pc with an emulator and after hours of playing I finally won the game in single player ... never could won it again...

I'm going to sound like a n00b...

I know that this is a n00b question, but how do you play in single player? I can only get 2-player to work, and install.bat doesn't do squat.

BranjoHello This gem is pretty under-rated here. I mean c'mon it's Bubble Bobble...everyone played it, everyone love...it's bloody addictive even now after all this years.

4 from reviewer and 3 from public...damn shame! :notrust:

you said it... one of the best games ever!

i'm gettin' addicted to it, lately...

i got a couple questions for u, guys... it wowuld be great if u could help me.

1: have you got any tips on the 32nd stage? it always take a lot to me to pass it.
2: i remember when i was i child that when i was playing alone in single player mode i had half of the monsters... in the version i got now i can't... how does it work?

thank you very much!
[/b]
Level 32 is the one of the hardest level if you don't know the technique. As you know, there is a box, where 6 monsters are flying, in the center of the screen. It seems, the only way to enter into the box is from the top of it. But you have another alternative. Left or Right walls are semi-transperent as all the walls in the game. If your partner blow a bubble from the opposite corner, you can jump (and jump) over this baloon, then reach the walls. it means that you can be able to blow your bubbles into the box. It is not as easy as I explain. You need some practice and a partner. In the single player mode, it is a bit more harder. You have
to blow your own bubble you will jump over, then run fast to catch it in time...

Please let me know if you need a screen shot or etc...

Regards,
Cagri.

the sound is so annoying how do u turn it off!
What I meant was that how do you turn off the sound when you're running it in DOS. No DOSBox.

Press F2 to turn the music off. Press F3 to turn the sound effects off.

The Fifth Horseman Use DosBox to run the game. You can download it here.

You might want to check out the official DosBox FAQ, and particularly this part of it. It is quite helpful for users unfamiliar with DosBox.
